If you're looking for an introduction to neuroscience, look somewhere else.

A point for effort, but I couldn't read more than 5 pages total across several chapters. It reads as though it was written by an undergraduate the night before it was due, and he/she forgot to proof read. Most sentences are barely grammatical, and some, I'm persuaded, don't qualify as acceptable English. Unfortunately, the fluidity of thought is likewise below standard for common published material. I was excited by the wide range of topics intimated by the table of contents and positive reader reviews, but was unprepared for the insult to my intelligence. I was unable to find anything about the author, Tim Berg, before or after buying the book; maybe that should have told me something. At least I didn't waste more than $4. If you're looking for an introduction to neuroscience, look somewhere else.

Although a good introduction to neuroscience I was unable to find the author's name anywhere and why he (she?) is qualified to write this book. A lot of helpful introductory information. Colorful cover!

8 pages in and I gave up. Project report? What is this? It reads like the first draft of a poorly written high school research project.
